Review : 02/06/2014: European Rotax Championship Rd.2 (@ Castelletto di Branduzzo - Circuito 7Laghi)
Last weekend the 2nd round of the Rotax Euro Series 2014 was held at the hot and grippy track of Castelletto !
2 Drivers where entered on the Flandria Kart chassis :
- Maxence Laurent in Senior
- Damien Vuillaume in DD2
After Mr. Dakic took the 2013 Title in German Rotax Max Cup, and the very promising final round of the season in Hahn where 3 Flandria Kart drivers took it to the top in 3 categories, it was not by chance that now a bunch of people are changing from Blue, Black, Green, and more towards Flandria Kart chassis !
In Germany, we have to thank Marco for his work, result and good publicity he made ! and besides that, his young age but good view on the future when it comes to bussiness..., we are sure we made the right descission making Marco an official 'Flandria Kart representative' !
Last weekend, Flandria Kart driver Mathias Geirnaert was going to do his 2nd race of the season. due to circumstances, Mathias did only few testing days and 1 race in Belgium Rotax this year (where he also was unlucky, cause of an 'unfair' driver pushing him off.)
In last weekends race : The France (Nord-Picardie) Ligue, there was a starting field of 46 KZ drivers ! (20 Gentlemen and 26 KZ125 ! ).
Mathias was ofcourse competing in the officieal KZ categorie, and starting of from Friday practices, it was clear to us that we were going to have a difficult weekend => Rain, Dry... Rain, Dry .. semi-wet.. and so on and so on...
